Frequently asked questions

Plain-language answers on setup, tasks, MCP, pricing, and how Bloomiro helps you improve search and AI visibility.

Product

What is Bloomiro?

Bloomiro is a search visibility action platform for SaaS teams. It combines Google Search Console performance, tracked AI answers, live website scans, competitor findings, and prioritized tasks.

What makes Bloomiro different?

Bloomiro focuses on turning a company's own Google, AI, website, and competitor data into clear actions. It helps teams see what is gaining traction, understand where competitors are stronger, and decide what deserves attention next.

Does Bloomiro track competitors?

Yes. Bloomiro can scan competitor websites and track competitor appearances across the AI questions you monitor. It helps you compare page coverage, content themes, website signals, mentions, citations, and observed visibility gaps.

Can Bloomiro show what works for competitors?

Bloomiro can show where competitors gain visibility, which pages and topics they cover, and where they appear in tracked AI answers. These are observed signals and differences, not proof that one specific factor caused their performance.

Does Bloomiro help with SEO and GEO?

Yes. Bloomiro reviews traditional search signals together with signals that affect how clearly AI systems can understand a website. It helps teams find issues and opportunities across both Google search and AI answers.

Who is Bloomiro for?

Bloomiro is designed for fast-moving SaaS teams that care about both Google search and AI answers. It fits founders, marketers, developers, and small teams that want to move from visibility data to useful action.

Getting started

How do I get started?

Sign up, create a project, and add your website URL. Bloomiro crawls your site and builds an initial visibility profile. Add competitors, connect Google Search Console when you are ready, and review your first task list. You can also connect MCP in Cursor or Claude to pull the same data from your editor.

How long until I see useful output?

After you connect a website, Bloomiro can surface page findings and starter tasks within minutes, even before Search Console is linked. Deeper query-based and AI presence insights build as you connect more sources and run more checks.

Do I need Google Search Console?

No, but it unlocks the full picture. Without Search Console, Bloomiro still analyzes your crawl, competitors, and page readiness. With it, you get clicks, impressions, queries, and landing-page performance alongside AI monitoring.

What if I only connect my website?

Bloomiro still works. You get site scans, page analysis, competitor gaps, and at least a handful of specific tasks from crawl data alone. The dashboard shows what to connect next instead of empty charts.

How do competitors work?

Add competitor domains during onboarding or in project settings. Bloomiro compares their visibility, content patterns, and AI mentions against yours, then surfaces gaps as tasks and opportunities.

Google and SEO

Classic search visibility: rankings, Search Console, site scans, and on-page SEO signals.

How does Google Search Console integration work?

You authorize Bloomiro to read your Search Console property. Bloomiro imports queries, clicks, impressions, and positions, then blends that data with site scans and AI presence. OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only for your project.

What is a site scan?

A site scan crawls your connected website and scores pages for Google readiness and AI readiness. You see keywords, findings, per-page scores, and issues like missing category definition, weak titles, or absent FAQ content.

What is page analysis?

Page analysis evaluates a single URL or piece of content for SEO and AI discoverability. It checks structure, intent, schema, clarity, trust signals, and comparison content. You can analyze a live URL, pasted copy, or a file path when using MCP inside your editor.

What are Search Readiness and AI Readiness?

Search Readiness reflects how well a page is structured and accessible for search engines: titles, structure, internal links, schema, and intent alignment. AI Readiness reflects how easily AI systems can access and understand a page: category clarity, answer-style content, and structured data. Both are heuristic readiness audits based on page signals. They do not measure rankings, clicks, traffic, AI mentions, or citations.

Does Bloomiro track backlinks?

No. Bloomiro focuses on site scans, Search Console, competitor gaps, AI presence, and tasks rather than backlink databases.

AI visibility & GEO

Generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) focus on AI citations, not just blue links. These answers explain how Bloomiro tracks AI visibility.

What is AI visibility?

AI visibility measures whether AI systems mention, cite, or recommend your brand when people ask category questions. Example: for the prompt "best tools for SaaS support," do you appear alongside competitors, or are you missing entirely?

What is GEO (generative engine optimization)?

GEO is a label for work aimed at showing up in AI-generated answers, not only in traditional search results. It often overlaps with SEO: clear pages, structured data, comparison content, and trustworthy sources. Bloomiro tracks AI readiness and prompt-level mentions alongside Google data.

What is AEO (answer engine optimization)?

AEO is another name for optimizing for direct answers in AI Overviews, chat assistants, and similar surfaces. Bloomiro tracks whether your brand appears for specific prompts and how that changes over time.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO focuses on earning visibility in search engine results: rankings, clicks, and indexed pages. GEO focuses on whether your brand shows up when people ask AI assistants for recommendations or answers. The tactics overlap, but the signals and tracking differ. Bloomiro covers both.

Which AI platforms does Bloomiro track?

ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Google AI Overview. For each tracked prompt you see whether your brand was mentioned, cited, or passed over, and which competitors appeared instead.

What are tracked prompts?

Prompts are the questions buyers ask AI about your category. You add your own or use starter packs generated from your visibility profile. Bloomiro runs them when you start an AI presence check and tracks changes between completed runs.

How do I improve AI citations for my brand?

There is no switch that guarantees AI citations. Teams usually start with clear category pages, comparison content, FAQs, structured data, and sources that models can parse. Bloomiro scores AI readiness, runs tracked prompts, and turns gaps into tasks so you can see what changed over time.

How often are AI presence checks run?

You can run checks on demand from the dashboard or through MCP. Automated monitoring frequency depends on your plan and credit balance. Results show deltas over time, including newly gained or lost mentions.

Tasks and workflow

How does the task system work?

Bloomiro turns visibility gaps into actionable tasks with title, reason, impact, and priority. Tasks come from site scans, page analysis, competitor comparisons, Search Console data, and AI presence results. Open tasks stay in your queue until you complete or dismiss them.

How are tasks prioritized?

Tasks are ranked by expected impact and relevance to your current data. High-impact gaps like missing comparison pages or unclear category definition surface first. As you complete work and new data arrives, the list refreshes.

Does Bloomiro write or publish content for me?

No. Bloomiro recommends what to do. You, your team, or your AI tools implement the changes. In Cursor or Claude, you can pull tasks via MCP and ask the assistant to draft or code the fix.

Can I use tasks with Claude or Cursor?

Yes. Connect Bloomiro through MCP, ask for your highest-priority tasks, then tell the assistant to implement a specific item. The same task list lives in the dashboard and in your editor.

MCP and integrations

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI assistants call Bloomiro directly. Instead of copying data between tabs, your editor can fetch visibility summaries, tasks, page scans, and AI presence results in context.

Which tools support Bloomiro MCP?

Cursor, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, VS Code with MCP support, ChatGPT connectors, and Perplexity custom connectors. OAuth and API keys are both supported depending on the client.

How do I connect MCP?

From your project MCP tab, create an API key or complete OAuth authorization. Point your client at the Bloomiro MCP endpoint, select your project scope, and run a smoke test like listing tools or fetching your connected project overview.

What can I do through MCP?

Pull project overviews, site scans, page content, competitor scans, Search Console summaries, AI presence results, opportunities, and your task list. Navigation tools help agents drill from overview into depth without dumping raw database exports.

Are MCP responses capped?

Yes, by design. Responses are summarized and paginated so they fit in an AI context window. Rate limits apply per API key and plan. If you need more detail, call again with a specific page, competitor, or task filter.

Pricing and credits

What plans are available?

Starter is $29 per month for solo founders: one site, 200 credits per month, and full visibility features. Builder is $49 per month for small teams: two sites, 500 credits per month, and an extra teammate seat. Growth is $99 per month for growing teams: up to 5 sites, 2,000 credits per month, and higher monitoring volume. Yearly billing saves on every plan.

How do credits work?

One credit represents a standard unit of Bloomiro processing. Actions use one or more credits based on the work involved, and the exact cost is shown before confirmation. Your plan includes a set number each month. Looking at your dashboard does not use credits.

What uses credits?

Prompt run: 1 credit per prompt per AI model. Site scan: 1 credit. Page scan: 1 credit. Competitor scan: 1 credit per competitor. Same in the app and MCP. The total is shown before you confirm.

Can I buy more credits?

Yes. Need more? Buy credits in Billing: $20 for 1,000 or $100 for 5,000. Top-up credits last one year.

When am I charged?

Your card is charged when you subscribe. You can manage or cancel your subscription from Billing.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the billing page in your dashboard. Changes follow Stripe subscription rules. Your data stays available according to your account status.

Teams and organizations

Can I invite teammates?

Yes. Organizations support invites so teammates can access shared projects. Invite flow is email-based with role assignment per organization.

What are organizations?

An organization groups projects, billing, and members. Solo founders start with a personal workspace. Growing teams can add colleagues and manage multiple sites under one subscription.

Can I manage multiple websites?

Yes. Starter includes one site. Builder includes two sites per organization. Growth includes up to 5 sites in one workspace. Each site is a separate project with its own scan data, competitors, tasks, and MCP scope.

Data and security

What data does Bloomiro store?

Account data, project settings, tasks, metrics, and crawl metadata live in Postgres. Large crawl HTML and analysis payloads live in private object storage. Ephemeral caches handle rate limits and fast dashboard reads.

Is my Search Console data secure?

Yes. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used only to sync your project's Search Console metrics. Bloomiro does not sell your data.

Where is Bloomiro hosted?

The app runs on Cloudflare. The API and MCP server run on Cloudflare Workers. Structured data uses Supabase Postgres. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Comparisons

How is Bloomiro different from Ahrefs or Semrush?

Ahrefs and Semrush excel at search intelligence and keyword research. Bloomiro adds AI visibility, task prioritization, and MCP access so your AI tools can act on the data. It is built for teams that want a single workflow from insight to execution. See the full Bloomiro vs Semrush comparison for feature and pricing details.

Does Bloomiro replace an SEO agency?

Not necessarily. Agencies can use Bloomiro for ongoing intelligence and task planning. Founders and small teams often use it instead of hiring a full-time SEO role early on.

Is Bloomiro only for technical teams?

No. Marketers use the dashboard directly. Developers benefit from MCP inside Cursor. Both see the same tasks and visibility data.
