Bloomiro vs Otterly: Otterly is the inexpensive way to watch AI answers. Bloomiro is the way to put those answers next to Google Search Console and a list of work. If you only want a mention dashboard, start with Otterly. If you already live in Search Console and you want the AI checks in the same project, start with Bloomiro.
Otterly's own pricing page lists Lite at $29 a month, Standard at $189, and Premium at $489, with lower annual prices. Gemini, Google AI Mode, and Claude are add-ons on that page, not included on every plan. Those numbers move. Read otterly.ai/pricing before you buy. Bloomiro's plans are on pricing.
The job, not the logo
People search "Otterly AI alternative" when the bill grows. The usual reason is add-ons. A $29 plan that tracks four engines looks fine until Gemini and AI Mode are extra lines, and the prompt pack is extra again.
Bloomiro checks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode as part of AI presence. Claude is not included. That is a product limit, not a footnote to hide.
| Otterly | Bloomiro | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry shape | Low published monthly price | Trial, then site plans with credits |
| Extra engines | Gemini, AI Mode, and Claude sold as add-ons | Gemini, Copilot, AI Overviews, and AI Mode included. No Claude checks |
| Google queries | Not the product | Search Console on paid plans |
| After the chart | A monitoring view | Tasks, page scans, and MCP |
| Best for | Solo marketers who want a light monitor | Teams who will change a page and re-measure |
When Otterly wins
Otterly wins if you want the smallest possible bill to see whether a brand name appears, you do not need Search Console in the same tool, and you are fine paying extra when you turn on Gemini or AI Mode.
It also wins if your whole team already has a process outside the tool. The dashboard is the report. The work happens in a doc somewhere else. That is a valid setup.
When Bloomiro wins
Bloomiro wins if the next sentence after "we are not mentioned" is "which URL should we change, and do we already get Google impressions for that query?"
That second question is Search Console. A mention tool cannot see it unless you export both and merge them yourself. Track brand mentions in AI search is the method. Bloomiro is the place the runs live.
Use the same prompts for at least four runs before you rewrite them. Otherwise you are comparing different questions and calling it a trend.
A fair test
Run this prompt in both products if you can:
"How can I track if my competitors are getting mentioned in AI search results?"
Then log:
- Was your brand named?
- Was a competitor named?
- Which domains were cited?
- Did the run fail, or did you simply not appear?
Failed checks are not the same as a loss. If a provider errors, do not write that down as "not mentioned."
